Meet Our Puppies

Puppies due October 2024!

Lonestar Ridgeback puppies are loved and nurtured inside our home, in our community, and with our family.

We thoughtfully consider ways to develop our puppies, so that you both have a head start as you start your lives together in all the ways that matter most.

Each puppy receives individualized training and attention including:

 - House training and crate training

 - Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Exposure

 - Behavioral Training such as Sit, Stay, Wait,

 - Extensive Enrichment Activities

 - Scent work and problem solving

 - Texture Training

 - Desensitizing to common sounds like Lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, doorbells, etc.

 - Water confidence

 - Socialization with children, teens and adults

 - Travel training, rides in the car, walks in the neighborhood and around town

 - Overall confidence building with navigating obstacles like stairs and uneven surfaces

 - and so much more

It is important to know that puppies are situational, meaning that it's important that you are dedicated to continuing the training that we begin in the first 8 weeks of life.  Also that it is totally normal for your puppy to take a few steps back in his training as he transitions to his new home with you. With time, boundaries, and patience, your puppy will make progress to being a successful member of your household.

Our puppies bring us so much joy and we can't wait to share that joy with you!
